Layal Srouji



Layal Srouji is a Palestinian/American artist based in New York City. Working primarily in fibers and textiles, her practice falls at the intersection of functional clothing design and artmaking. Referencing maps, land, and agriculture as markers of identity, Layal weaves these markers of the Palestinian diaspora into her tactile works.
